another idea: use them as an alternate supply carrier. Maybe put a light weapon, but have it access some other form of resources.

There MIGHT be 2 new ores.... Gas and.... we have no idea what the other one might be if accepted.

Actually I have been trying to get an ore that contains the ions and some of the less common isotopes developed.

There wont be a Gas or a new ore. Gas uses were just to limited to even bother with using in game as a resource. And a New ore isnt really needed. But this is off topic.
