Opu .exe Modifications?
« on: July 28, 2005, 09:45:00 AM »
I don't really know what it is you guys may have played with, but the updated version of the game executable (Outpost2.exe) won't let me choose a difficulty level for single player modes (campaign and colony games). I used to love just playing on the Eden Colony Builder but now it seems to be stuck in a high difficulty level and is more frustrating than not to play.

Just hit Alt and what you've selected will show up. It gets selected anyways, even if you can't see it. It's just that Alt seems to make it redraw.

I forgot to mention that I couldn't find any info on this subject so that's why I posted. Maybe add this to the OP2 section of the main site (under bugs or something).

Anyway, thanks for the info.

My thoughts are not that Windows has bugs (which it does, but anyway) but that OP2 doesn't support WinXP styles.

Thanks for the note!

Well, as long as there is a work around, I'm happy.
