My main question was, which will you play more, OP3 or OP2, but then I realized that there are 2 version's of OP3 coming out, so I made them both an option. If you'd rather, just pick an OP3 version but say here that you don't care which OP3, just that you'll play OP3 over OP2.
-
I would play all of them.. Lol.
This doesn't belong in the Outpost 2 forum, moving this thread.
-
Zeus no offence but thats a stupid question, id play all of them of course.
-
also, no offence to anybody, but we dont even know how the games will be, who knows wich one might catch on, they both may be equal, or one might be much better than the other, and of corse this would be persional preference
but we really wont know untill we can play them
-
I was just wondering if OP2 would just die off again due to a better and more advanced (I hope) game coming out?
-
It probably will, i mean thats why those games are being made, because we want a better op.
-
but there will always be a need for the old classics
-
I will play all of them, even if the new OP3s are as boring as I hear OP1 is.
-
I doubt they will be boring, for one they will defonetly have combat, wich op1 lacked, and was turn based snors-vill
-
I've only played OP1 once, and I only played it for about 15 minutes. I really hope that more work is put into OP3 than was put into OP1.
-
well, this might be interesting to hear, but OP1 was created and designed by a bunch of lawyers or something, and when Sierra tried to fire them, they couldn't cause of the risk of being sewed. OP2 was the cover-up of OP1.
-
Where did you hear that? It sound's kinda far fetched, but hey, it could be true.
-
(OT)
I might have a go at Garrettboast's version.
Because it' looks like it might be finished before Knux's version.
But I will still always play OP2.
-
I would have to go with Garrett's version of OP3 cause I get to see the production of the game myself and the way it 's turning out is awesome. I personally love all the advance ments garrett's made on the game. But he still managed to keep all of the OP2 characteristics.
-
I would go with my version of op3! :D
But maybe I'm biased.
-
I would play all three!
-
hmm you forgot mine ........ strange should i tell knux or Garrettboast's about my plan .. hmm not until everyhting gets on a roll (recent set backs but will tell in time and soon hopefully)
in my case all 4 i would play
-
yah, me too, all 4. lol.
-
I'll play op2 and at least one op3, of course the op3 I like more, or both if they are equally good.
-

sorry I havn't been around im busy trying to raise enough capital, i am trying to launch a sucessful business in my city, this i n turn i hope will be enough to open several other types of bussiness that will pool the money into my own software company and then buy the copy rights of the tradmark of op2 and then launch an op packege consisting of a revitelized version of op2 and the diffrent versions of op3 then at the same time launch Outpost the movie and that would be my secret hopefully this flau filled plan will be acomplished in 4 years
-
If you get rights for op2, mayb u could help me out. :P Sierra seems not to want to give away their rights. But mayb they could be bought.
-
i would play all three. but I will always play OP2 even if it is boring compared to OP3.
-
I would play all six.
How many do you think will actually get done? :P
-
I think no more than 3 will be done.
-
I will download and play all of them. Although I would also expect them to have reasonable storylines. The storyline was one of the best things I liked about OP2, reading the Novellas and all.
