Well, I took a small break from making buildings and went back to an old attempt at making an OP/OPHD logo.
Here's an initial take, so that I can get some basic feedback about the font, text design, and sun.

Well, for the splash/title screen, I've pretty much got it down to how I want it. It's hard to explain... lemme upload a video real quick of what it's currently doing.

It's kind of a short clip, I know.
Anyway, beyond this is the Main Menu where Mars, The Bringer of War continues to play. This is the screen where I'd like to do something different with the background. It uses the same image that Outpost did for its main menu screen, but I was considering using commissioned hand-painted artwork for this. I'm just not sure how to begin finding an artist for this but I'll get around to it. :)
On top of that I was thinking about using the logo and flare animation as seen in the splash screen super-imposed on top of the main menu background graphics. Have to see what it'd look like and I wanted to focus on a few other things first.
