Shows fullscreen mode (I currently run at 1440x900) with the dynamic diamond map and 3D connectedness search graph allowing for colony runners.

At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to force air shafts to always be connected to a valid tube like a structure but when I think about it, the digger bot's job is to basically dig a shaft, build an air shaft and then cap it. It's a structure but doesn't require any resources, so why not allow the digger to put it anywhere? This allows for colony 'runners' as I like to call them. Can create research parks away from the colony or anything else like it.
