Is their anyway to play multiplayer and if so anybody wants to play?
-
People still play multiplayer, but games aren't too frequent these days. Usually people meet on IRC to chat and occasionally setup games. The network is QuakeNet, the channel is #Outpost2.
There are many IRC clients available. I used to use mIRC (http://www.mirc.com/), which is pretty good, but be aware it's nag-ware, and will ask you to either register, or click through an extra box at startup.
There are other IRC clients available, but I'm less familiar with them. Perhaps someone else can give a good suggestion.
The server's list, including QuakeNet, usually comes packaged with the software.

How do you use mIRC?
-
Hold up got it to work. No one is there.

You might not have joined the right network or chatroom. Make sure you're connected to Quakenet, and then join the #Outpost2 channel.
Edit: Also forgot to mention there is a web based IRC somewhere. I've never used it though. Maybe someone else can post the link.

NTCS is having a game day tomorrow, starting at 6:00 PM EST. You can read more about it here (http://newterrancommandsite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=191).

Yeah, need to do that more often.
Good stuff.
