But isn't the purple mass in-game a computer overlay? In the first mission of Eden, the Blight spreads without being visible.

Flashy, the deep purple is a computer overlay as well.  In this case it is part of a temperature map, but it kind of looks like the topographical minimap with the blight appearing, lol

I'll go activate the light tower with the antivirus and hopefully slow it down so we can escape.
