Patch Idea:
Agridomes currently do not have a set capacity limit.
-
metal storages should stay as is. They are smaller, require fewer workers than a smelter, and therefore shouldn't hold the same ammount. Having a limit on argidome storage could help or it could hurt the game...
-
Well, its fine unless its a land rush game. Then theres problems with the idea as people's entire population will starve to death before you get the CC up.

In that case, maybe make it so that you can have a limited amount of food on hand say 250 points of food. So then storage would be 10250 for the first agridome.

or make it so they can use the food that is in the trucks, lol

Something ya. Otherwise everyone would be dead before any building got built. As starvation happens quite quickly when theres no food... even quicker when theres no food being produced.

If (!) a food storage limit is added, I'd suggest to add an additional food storage per colonist. This way Land Rush games where you start with more colonists would still work.
The idea of taking food from trucks is also nice, but we may have to change the original LR games, because those usually give you one truck of food which may not be enough.

"Your people are eating each-other, commander."

I mean, if you leave your house and make a trip to nowhere, you're going to take some food with you. Even if you just go to school/work you may do that.

im not entirely sure if this is a good idea some maps might not allow you the space to build the extra agridomes you need to sustain a colony that you want. Food isnt exactly a commodity you spend alot ether. you cant just go out and spend food on things so what is the point in limiting it other then some extra sense of realism. its understandable why you would limit resources because you are going to spend them and you really them to expand attack and defend. so if they limit you on that you have to think about how you are spending. and wouldnt you want to have alot of food around.
