This time Poi and Demon-Wizard joined forces against Spike and Highlander, in a N vs S battle.
Battle was agreed to commence on mark 150.
Spike decided to keep his cards close and never expanded outside his base, while the 3 others did so, Highlander being the only one to go for rare as well as some extra common ore.
As AM broke, Spike went for an instant rush against DW (Hard feelings from previous battles there guys? haha). DW's defenses proved no match for Spike, who took out the defenses as well as the mining outpost.

Poi in the mean time were rushing out his defense to make an attempt to defend his mining outpost before the cyan onslaught would arrive.

Spike however wasted little time with the mining outpost. With DW's defenses gone he dashed for the main base before DW could get his defenses up, which was more than DW could defend from and he met an untimely end thanks to Spike's Microwave's.

With DW dead and buried, and Spike on the move to the other side of the map to finish up Poi, Highlander decided to join the fray and pave a road for Spike's army.

With Poi's army tied down by Highlander, Spike went for a easy stroll into Poi's base to get his second kill for the match.

Well, im amazed, to be honest. It's really cool. The game was kinda lame, since I just rushed, but nice AAR! :D

It's not so hard to beat me I think.. I've lost several games.
The issue is that when I'm pressed, I don't have the time to take snapshots .. or I forget to take them in the heat of battle. So, when I post here, I usually only post the matches that are properly documented. Which I guess makes this somewhat biased. If you ask the regulars, I'm sure they all have some bragging rights by now :D

No, I have only heard of his failure ONCE. thank the creator for the meteor on his CC. that meteor will be rewarded in the afterlife.

I personally remember beating him in 2 games, but i do know that at one point, and he and high were the 2 best. Iirc, he just never liked no am games with MS and high res, but preferred long games like survivor.

Many good players turned inactive. And when people stop playing op2, their skill may decrease. Don't expect that these "oldies" are still as good as they have been 5 years ago.
Hence, if you want to compare your skills with others, you should compare with people who are active today. And if an "old" player comes back, you shouldn't assume that he/she is as good as in the past.
