Post by: Demon-Wizard on October 04, 2011, 06:28:17 PM: I am Demon-Wizard, glad to meet everyone. I use to play outpost 2 online back in 2001 but i guess sierra took the online community away. I stumbled upon this website and was able to play a few really good online games.

Anyways, if you want to play a game, please ask :)

We hope you enjoy your stay, and as for me im mainly active in forums... i still stink at op2, but have made a blue moon texture pack for outpost2 (1map currently) if you want a copy of my colony game ask flashy. We made 2 colony games togeather.
Ask him for outcaster's starship colony mission. If he doesent have it then search the forums for it.

Is there a way i can try it out without effecting my game version etc?

Sorry its been years since i was computer literate.

feel free to browse around our selection. just remember, you break it, you buy it(cost of all content is a multiplayer match XD) I dont play much anymore so if you do get a match against me im probably ether going to go all out or ask for a sow quiet game. damn plazmaburst 2 and minecraft addicting me more then op2... damn eric gurt, notch and jeb... making games i cant resist... they should be ashamed.

oh dear, i think i just ranted XD. anyhow, welcome to out little outpost. grab a ration, and plop down in front of a savant interface. :D

Most new content just consists of additional .dll, .txt or .map files, which only get loaded if you select them from the mission screen. Some of them actually hack the running game due to the lack of freedom and possibilities(for example more information of map tiles) of the outpost 2 api, but they don't alter game files, so those changes expire when you shut the level down.

If you play against DW, you'll likely have to go all out or have your base wiped from the map ;)

I dont cheat... I just forget what the move button is for scouts after i send them into your base and end up 'accidentally' pressing the detonate button.

anywho we also have novella (stories based apon the game) which some of them are pretty amazing. and then we have some critics who give constructive criticism for our authors of the stories... mine is far from done and i havent came back to it yet... i might go back to it though idk.

So if you like to read stories or books come look at our opu novella section XD

Welcome to the forum wizard, and I appoligize to everyone here for my absence as of late. I had to take a course over the summer to get into a Masters degree program because the job market has yet to be kind to me :/

irc got ruined somehow and now everyone meets up in a place called spark or "xmpp" or something like that. anyways heres a link http://www.outpostuniverse.net/xmpp.php (http://www.outpostuniverse.net/xmpp.php) to the page that will help you get setup to chat with the op2 players to play some games :D

Welcome Demon-Wizard! It's crazy to see people come back to this game. I myself come back from time to time and love the fact that we still have our enthusiasts and new comers!
