Title: Hello
Post by: Tails on September 18, 2011, 01:28:53 PM
Hi, I've been playing OP2 off and on again since it came out. I still have the original disk in good condition. Mostly on easy but lately I've been trying my luck on normal and hard.  The later is impossible for me right now.  I would like to play some online with some patient ppl. and get better.
Thanks

Heh. Nice. I wonder why my copy of Outpost 2 didn't have that ending. I guess I got the late beta version. :P

welcome to the number one outpost 2 community. Here we have ways to;

A. provide new coloney games (exclusively not provided from the disks)
B. provide different exotic game types for multiplayers, like manopoly.
C. or teach you how to really play op2 (steamrolling your base for example).

XD

Steamrolling? no, no, thats NOT how we great noobies. we are supposed to give them an army or 30 scouts and 'accidentally' press the self destruct button and their Command Center

You know I 'accidentally' blew up a supernova Lynx next to my friends tokamok once when I was introducing the game to him. For the record, thats kind of a bad way to convince someone how awesome the game is.

Nice, I hope that you've become less accident prone since then.

Also is there a smiley that blows up like a vehicle or supernova explosion?
If not there should be.  :lol:

Definately less so. Although people anymore don't usually hold interest that long when I try and introduce it to them. :heh:

As far as I know, no supernova smiley, although you're absolutely right, there definately /should/ be one.

yeah subbed74 almost stopped playing op2 when i had the bad habit of forgetting to trade or leaving my units too close(path finding took over after  they spotted the enemies) why its a good way to lose a new player its a great way to get a laugh. or a oh s*** moment when you realize that those units where needed to defend your own base. cause the other player got mad and hid an army 3 meters from your walls. thank god for 3 bars and LOTS of VF's
