Title: Questions About Automatic Trucking

When on Automatic Trucking:

• Is it necessary or helpful to build additional trucks? I ask this because the Robot command always shows my original four trucks a being idle, even though ore is magically being moved.
• Does it help to make bulldozed or paved haul roads?

Also, one unrelated question; is there anywhere I can find a list of the resources required to build and operate all the various types of structures?

Pardon me if these questions have been asked before. I did a search and couldn't find anything on the topic.

We really should start listing which of the game's feature aren't implemented.

Agreed.

Automatic trucking apparently is implemented, at least in v1.51.  I'm playing medium difficulty level and haven't assigned any trucks, yet the ore is moving to the Smelter like clockwork.

I've started on the list of resources required for each type of structure, but it's going to take quite a while.  Especially for the ones that take research to build, and aren't useful enough to justify building during the course of an ordinary game.  If someone's already done this I'd rather not duplicate their effort.
