as soon as i did the reserch for nanotech my population stoped. why is this? is it a glitch or is it that i created the ultimet utopia?

not really i just haven't played it an a while (too busy with OP2) and have always been bothered by the fact that i never needed to worry after half my pop dies and then stops when the tech was completed. it has bee 4-5 years sense i have played
