:)
It's one thing that we offer abandonware for download, another that we link to torrents of new releases (or, unreleased)...

yea, at the very least wait until someone cracks the serial algorhythm before you start torrenting.

I downloaded the creature creator trial, and man is it harder than it looks.  Hopefully the actual games comes with a reference on how to do everything.

The crack is out already.

Was playing it last night, different style of game play to what I normally play, but its still lots of fun

to answer you question CK9, there are tutorial like pop ups that guide you through the important stuff.

Yay. I'm almost un-excited now though.. I've waited so long and it kept getting pushed back.. They'll probably delay launch again :[

Another one of those people who didn't bother to read the rest of the thread?

It's officially out in the UK today, Sunday for the US I believe, and been on Usenet / torrent since Wednesday, if not earlier!

Mez, I didn't ask a question =p

I got the full creature creator off of someone, but I am planning on actually buying the actual game, heh

DRM?  Not sure what that is...

I made 5 creatures so far, including the one I said I was going to when I first posted about spore here.  One is based off the Audrey 2 plant from Little Shop of Horrors, lol

I downloaded the demo and sinned against nature.  But if I get the full game I'm making a Mr. Saturn!

Digital Rights Management (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_rights_management)

Spore contains this flavor of DRM: SecuROM v7.x (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Securom#SecuROM_v_7.x)

okay...that didn't tell me much.  As long as I make the creatures offline, I have no problems.  I forgot I got the full from someone and tried to go online, oops!  lol.  Luckily, I had not set up the anti-virus firewall with an exception for spore yet.
