Hi. My friend and I are trying to play OP2 over TCP/IP but when I try to start the game, I get the error "Replicating Players list failed" after it attempts to send the players list out. We are using the original OP2 cd's with the 3 scenario packs installed + windowed loader. Anyone know how to fix this?

I am not entirely sure... networking is not my specialty, but how I can help is in saying that TCP/IP on the original OP2 doesn't work properly anymore (I'm not entirely certain) Your best hope of having a Multi game is through the direct link program Hamachi, whose website is located at Hamachi.cc (http://www.hamachi.cc). I'm sure one of the more network-experienced members can help you.
By The Way, welcome to the OPU forums!

Try upgrading to our version available from the site.
If the host is behind a router, our version fixes the issue that causes the "replicating players list failed" error.
Again, be sure all players have forwarded ports 47776-47807 UDP in your routers.. you might need to add rules or in some cases disable firewalls while you play.

Cool! The TCP/IP is working great using the OPU version. Thanks for the help! :)

You can also play via hamachi.
Hope to see you both on IRC for games soon :D
