Title: Combat-based Survivor?
Post by: Slaughter (PhodoX) on October 07, 2006, 03:18:40 PM
Lots of you already played some kind of "Survivor" game on Multiplayer. But, normally, on these games, you see few or no combat, since it's a space race coupled with escaping from the blight.

I was thinking... There's going to be some way to make a Survivor game that have plenty of combat. I want to know what your guys think abou that.

You can make almost everything. Just have to put blight and lava on a map and set the right victory condition(s).

But if you want combat, why don't you play LoS or normal SR? I like survivor, because there's no combat in it.

There is a combat-based survivor, Caught in the Crossfire. You and three other people have to fight off a strong AI, and keep ahead of the blight.

However in this map, the humans are still allied. If you were to put the humans on separate teams, it could easily become a rushing game. It would be too easy to quickly get lynx and destroy your enemies.

Although, in the current survivor games, combat isn't that rare. If someone is angry enough at someone else, they might decide to attack them. It isn't too fair, but it does happen.
