put a clock into the shoutbox? I never know, when the last shout was, unless I'm here, when somebody shouts.

Well in Shoutbox History, it gives the time of each shout, in your time.

that will help, but is there an obstacle for setting the time in Shoutbox Live to the members time?

That is because that time is in MST. I'm in EST, and I get EST time in Shout Box History.

Go into your control and change your time zone settings.

By default, the shoutbox will use your time zone settings... but if you have not set them, it won't work.

I know, have done that and get right time in shoutbox history, but not in shoutbox live. And I don't want to always look at history.

maybe that is because you live in the USA and don't have changed the time settings, have you?

Shoutbox live seems to have a fixed timezone, while shoutbox history and the rest of this forum use the settings set by the user. Fact is that shoutbox live is 8 hours behind my time.

why don'T you just let them demand? You can decide yourself, when you post. And if you don'T feel like posting, just let it.

Maybe there are reasons I don'T understand, but thats my opinion.

Topic is gone. As for the original, (the clock in the shoutbox) I think there is one, but it is localized to the board settings in the Live! portion and your time in the History.
