Title: OPU Gallery Installed

After seeing the number of 'screenshot threads' and imageshack / photobucket URLs being posted on this forum, I decided to install a public gallery that any forum member can upload their files to, as well as view other members' files.

You can access this gallery at http://gallery.outpostuniverse.net/ (http://gallery.outpostuniverse.net/). You must be logged into the forums in order to be able to upload pictures, but anyone can view pictures on the gallery. (The gallery shares login information and permissions with the forums, so if you are logged out of the forums, you will be logged out of the gallery -- if you push login or logout in the gallery it will redirect you to the forum login / logout page to do the login).

You must have a forum account to post files, so register if you are a guest and want to use the gallery.

You can also get to the gallery by going to "Gallery" in the drop down list for mods, the same place where you can access IBStore, IBReferral, etc.

Everything on the gallery is public, so don't post anything you wouldn't want the public to be able to get to. Also, please don't post offensive images, porn, etc. We will periodically look through the gallery and remove images which are offensive / vulgar (and potentially punish users who post them).

Feel free to post your screenshots in the OP2 section of the gallery, all areas are publicly accessible (except of course your Member area, which only you can upload files to).

The current theme is kind of ugly, so if you have any themes or ideas you would be willing to share, let us know.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions for the gallery, feel free to post them here or contact a moderator or admin.

Perhaps put a link to the gallary in the op-universe portal for easier access ?

Down by the wiki and forum urls I mean..

add it to the quicklinks under the shoutbox, too.  I don't use the front portal, so i'm not familiar with the current layout
