i havent played this game since SIGS/WON (or whatever it was) died. not that i was ever any good at it in the first place  :)

Welcome to OPU! Glad to see you on the forum and I hope to see you on IRC! Remember that IRC is the easiest way to keep in touch with the community and if you have any questions about Outpost 2, OPU, the forums or even unrelated technical questions (some of us are quite talented) IRC is the fastest way to get in touch. Its also the quickest way to get a multiplayer match going ;)

There are lots of projects currently cooking away here at Outpost Universe so if you have any interest in making tilesets, backgrounds, even 3D models or basic programming experience, let us know and we can get you plugged into development.

IRC is the ONLY way to get a game going! Thats where we meet to play :P

If you have questions use the forum.

And people are not allways on IRC when you are on but please come on IRC whenevea you are online and dont just leave because no one is there when you log on.

i have an old "client" that replaced WON if any if you want to reverse-engineer it :) the join game feature didnt work but hey its more convient than IRC. Some one would have to serve as a "server" however... i cant for the life of me remember who made it though...

We dont use that, we never did. We have allways used IRC, its far better.

The client you are talking about had problems.
