Title: Civiliazation 4

yea got for christmas present.
It took while to get run because graphic card below spec but still bother got work right so could see terrien in color not in black.

Anyway this game for see and heard has some graphic bug problem.But still fun to play just learn mes xml code tag they use since got rid editor that could change spec units and building and improvements. And poor instructiong of file do for it.

I saw some people playing this at a lan party i went to.

It looks good but its proly just still a civ game with some improvments.

hehehe but one like about it is mod ability which lot more any other before it.

Actually, Civilization 4 is pretty good. It it still just an upped Civ game, but the graphics are amazing. (However, my GeForce4 MX 420 can't really handle it completely... supposedly missing a few features) It's been changed quite a bit, too. For example, the governments and stuff have been changed a bit, includings the new Civics, which determine the qualities of the rule. I really haven't played it a lot (since the units move slow...), but it seems quite interesting. I hope to see new changes in games like this a bit more. Or something of the sort.

yup the game has changed for example, as u research u found religions
and instead of goverment types u have one goverment with elements u choose

don't forget about great leader that can get in gamr but no longer done by combat instand it is points gain in city for your leader.
There Great Merchan, Great Phophet, Great Scientist, Great Engineeer(he only rush building a structure) and can settle in city for super specialist or use them gain technology in there field relate research.

i read an article about graphics cards and it mentioned civ 4. if youve got anything less than a nvidia 6800 the higher graphics settings are disabled. if i find the article again, ill show it to you because the difference between having those settings and not is VERY drastic. it looks like a completely different game; especially with atmospheric, light and water effects.

lol that cool picture to see. not sure but civ 4 I think does not actual disable high in the setting . I know less then nvidia 6800

if you have a 6800 or higher, the option "very high" appears in the options. this is normally not selectable with a lesser model. at least thats what the article sez.
