Time For an Update :P

I am nearly to a level of coding ability to start coding a basic combat game I just need to be able to code a working AI and then I can do it.

alright then how about you make a map with a mountain down the center and a narrow cut in the mountain range. So there will be only one way to get to the other side. and when your done let me know :)

Oof... Spirit, I'm assuming that you're doing a 2D shooter or whatnot. If that's the case than the AI is easy enough to work with... especially if it's a space shooter.

I can't tell you the countless hours I've spent recoding the AI in the Quake2 engine to accomodate the new AI system I designed for 'The School from Hell'.

Which reminds me... I am so NOT looking forward to coding AI for Outpost 3. ech... or OP:MIA for that matter, but OP:MIA's AI is easy enough also.

No I am coding OP2 colony missions


what I meant by "a basic combat game" was that I could make tigers for both sides and then attack

This looks like it could be interesting, but I had a few questions:
-Are you going to have a vec fac and then build what you want?
-Can you only build tigers?
-Can you build things from both techtrees? (Thors, RPGs, ESGs, Acids, etc)
-Or are the vecs just going to be spawned and you fight with them?

well I plan on having 4 colony games in the first pack and then more in the second pack. as for what the colony games have or do is still being decided we only have one or two planned. I am open to suggestion on what we should have I want this to be a made by us not me so post your suggestions
