the .dll op2sheres.dll changes the version and the menue like if you took the small dll and a old dll you can put every thing from the old to the new except the .dll i sad but it will chage to the other version if you do
is there a way to change that? :hack:

umm... Could you run a spellchecker on that? I don't think I got what you are trying to say.
Also... Periods (.) are you friends!
There is a way to change this, just it requires hacking.
Also...
OPU only. You didn't see this post. Move along. Move along before I take you out. MOVE IT.
I'm sure hacker will give you the full dish on this one.

This thread makes no sense whatsoever to me..... please reword your question?
-
all i have to say is..."huh?"
-
well how about start with explaining what can be edited with this file.
-
first i dl the opsmall file, but i whanted to make it larger. So i copied all the files from my orignal cd. Then i copied a old download. I found out that the dll listed above changed the version to 1.3.2 but it activated the menu. i was wondering if i could change the dll, so i could have the correct version 1.3.3 and, have the menu active. <_<
-
i really dont see what you are saying.......making the small one bigger?! and what menu is this of which you speak?
-
Oh yes, grammar is a serious barrier for us web-freaks.
What are you talking about 'Rules of this thread'?

if you want to upgrade the small ver to a bigger version; get the upgrade packages listed on the site.
No need to screw around with the dlls.
But if you want to edit the dll; use a resource editor.
The version number in that makes no difference -- the version information is encoded into the EXE. The game doesn't care about the version on the menu dialogs.

if i KNEW what all this was about (which i don't coz i don't understand much of what anyone says here), i could tell you to just DL all the things u find on the OPU website, install them all (one at a time), try them out one by one, and delete them (one by one), to find which version works...
That's IF i knew what u were talking bout, kay?
My opinion: just get the full package, install it, start playing with the other lads, and suddup about versions - op2 doesnt care , and i sure don't care what version u have - as long u can play! :P
