Plays all the OP2 AVIs, if you have the CD in your computer.

if the movies are avi i think media player can play it or is the quick time cant remebr but 1 of them can, if not then i have another prog that douse but that was for a different game that used avi

Windows Media Player and Quicktime can play AVIs.

if windows media player, and other players can play the op2 avi's, why do we need to download this?

Then, you don't have to use open file to find the CD AVIs. The movie player does it for you. It was also made for the heavy gamer.
