ok, his was a temp gline, joe and bot are back..

I tried asking in #help but they didnt say anything...

I get to like Quakenet less and less each day, the irc ops are all like 8 yr old script kiddies. (if you've ever seen them talk)

I / We cant do anything, some idiot on the server end better fix it though.

I tryed that proxy thing keep getting rejected but the server though

Keep trying new proxies, thats the best I can suggest, you'll have to find one that works sooner or later.

Maybe if someone was nice enough to lend a bnc or something people could connect thru it.

for the time being, use zigzagjoe.no-ip.com port 6667 for the irc server, use '/server zigzagjoe.no-ip.com' w/ no quotes

My friend is on the staff over at protium! If you want we can look into that. They have less latency and their servers are barely down..

Besides.... I wouldn't have to connect to two servers B)

oh god damn i hate irc.  Thought my server was f***ed up again good thing I came here first to see if it was problem for others.  Any way i dont think this tread will make forum people want to use IRC lol.

use irc, just do /server -m zigzagjoe.no-ip.com -j #Outpost2 .

that is the backup server, which we control completely. in the future we may make our own irc net.

Could netwrok service be due to you running a webserver etc, which a new q-net port scan would reveal an open port ( that you use for hosting a web service) and it wud interpret it a a threat and g-line you.

Thats just my idea, prolly wont help at all.

God damn what is going on then.  Im tired of siiting over in Joes sever doing nothing.  I have to be raped many times by levi tomarrow when my DSL is hooked up.  Need to find out why some are and some arent being g-lined stop worrying about what server we all need to be on.

If you use the MIRC that doesnt use NNS off the website you should beable to get on.  If your still G-lined give it a hour or so of reconnecting and youll get in.  2 servers cant exsist it will cause problems Qnet or zigs server.  I think Qnet is a better choice mostly because one person doesnt have all the power on the server.  We dont need another punboy.  And I dont not care if your going to say that wont happen it most likely will and it will piss people off.  I dont know what it is about NNS but i am trying to find out.

Well if you try different programs you need to give it some time to connect on each one the G-line will usually go away in 20 - 30 mins.  NNS doesnt seem to work for some damn reason for some people.  Get the Anacnda From joe its rather nice.  ZZJ can you post a link to it.
