Note to all: later tonight I am going to be removing all the forum mods (e.g. IBShout, IBReferral, and the remnants of IBStore) and then am going to reinstall IBShout and IBReferral. The reason for this is because I don't know what mods xfir has made or removed and we need the forums to run in the best possible shape.
What this means to you is that IBShout / IBReferral is going to be temporarily disabled/missing until I uninstall and reinstall the mods.
Vote in the poll if you want IBStore to be put back as well, I'll add that back if people want it back.

And post in Forum Improvment thread about what other mods you would like added.

Screw the store, its not like its giving us something useful. Hey if i got free money from it i would not mind keeping it here. But unfortunatle theres no money so fogedabut it. :P

Like what would be in the store? I really can't imagine anything trully useful to put in the store.
Correct me if i'm wrong.
also, what # of credits would we start with?

A billion zillion credits so that we can give it to lev so that he can take the store down.

I think the original store databases are still there.
So, whatever is left over from before the store was removed =)

after thinking about it for quite a few weeks I came to the conclusion, that the IBStore as we had it, was useless.
Offering more stuff in the shop would be good. (don't ask me what) and increase interest shouldn't be available, because it results in everyone having infinite credits.
And maybe make it so, that credits are no longer earned with posts, but maybe with forum-games etc.

Uggh. Updates can't be done today.
It seems xfir never updated to the final free version of IPB.
Right now the forums are running 1.3.0. They should be running 1.3.1 when it dies down a little.
So that means i'll have to take the forums offline for a few mins tomorrow. something I don't want to have to do but no way around it.

Yo hacker, pretent ur pissed at all of us and threaten to to take the forum down like X did, and then take it down tomorrow to update it and see what happens when u put it back up.

lol, I don't want to be like him.
I'll do it tomorrow when I get home, and I'll be sure to put a message saying WHY the boards are disabled, rather than being an xfir and editing stuff randomly so it gives a php error as a "joke".

Bring the store back - it's fun, but i do agree with adding more things to it... i mean IT WAS EMPTY ! What good is a million credits if ya can't do anything useful with it ?

I don't care what happens to the IBstore. It hasn't caused me any problems but it hasn't given me anything of value.

We can also add items that xfir didn't install before. (Items are just separate files or something like that. We could probably make our own, too)

I would support a new IBStore, if it wasn't just collecting interest all time.
Its not fun, if you just have to get more than 10000 credits once and then can buy anything in any quantity.
