hey every one! i just found this site (its awesome (thumbsup) ) since they took the internet server down i didnt think any one played outpost anymore. Anyway i found the revolver program and got the game music into .raw format, but all the converters i found outputted the file but at superfast speed. i used the sound recorded with windows xp to slow down the files, and they were ok, but the quality wasnt very good. plz help thx! :op2:

Use a different sampling rate... It's being oversampled and making the sound go too fast. This is the spec of the files you should have:
PCM, 16 bit stereo, 11025 Hz.
Good luck!

thank you for the info, but it didnt work :( (the superfast response is awesome thx :D ). I changed the output format to pcm 11025 Hz stereo, but it was still super fast. I looked for something that sounded more like a sample rate and tried about 8 different converters. plz help, thx :op2:

Sound recorder is what I use to convert it to WAV. I use Goldwave to convert WAV's to RAW, then sound recorder to fix the format.
