alright i cant play online right now, so ive resorted to playing the colony games as entertainment for now.
i wanted to know if anyone has played this colony game or even beaten it. becuase i believe it is more of a survival challenge of see how long u can live.
at my best ive managed to live to 215 (right when my cc is destroyed), and im wondering if anyone has any insight to the colony game.
below are two screenshots of just b4 i died, mostly for Spikerocks101 and Simpsonboy77 as proof. btw, i did get 2 children :D (one at 166, and the other at 207)

simpsonboy77 said he couldnt even beat normal so i guess ill try that for now.
good luck to anyone getting any further past that.

hard is imposable... it really is...
normal is insane...
and easy is difficult...
a friend of mine had the art of beating easy down to art though...
-
Hard/Normal is impossible due to the small populations you are given.
One can survive quite a while with the initial vehicles and some GP's.. but even on Normal you cannot get enough colonists to run a proper colony and produce weapons and do research.

well its nice to know i wasnt the only one, i guess ill try beating it on normal then

alright so i gave hard one more shot and ive made it well past my last mark of 215.
i decided to improve upon the mine idea and am now using my rail on a dozed path consisting of my residence nursery and uni. ive gone through 22 waves of single micro lynx and have only taken 180 dam to my mine (b4 i had the other bldgs up)
if the ai never changes or doesnt change anytime soon then i can build up my population.
i only have 6 work and 5 sci but that supports a cc, res, nurs, uni, and agro and morale hovers between 63 and 68
it may take forever but i will get some children/workers at this rate.
maybe it is possible?
then agian if they send even one more unit at me ill die.... ill see how long that takes. (thumbsup)

Please prepare a nice welcome party to the sticky/micro/flare waves ;)

well assuming that ai attacks are determined by my status, say for instance that they only attack with more after i research a certain tech or make a certain building i should be fine. the biggest issue is ppl. 5s 5w 2c.... is it destined to fail?
-
Probably. This is a fan-made map with not a lot of balancing for all difficulties.
-
alright so its a definitive no u cant win on hard.
it isnt becuase of ai though its the ppl. i had my first child at 209, and after growing tired of waiting, fast forwarded to mark 470 (speed 10), and i never got one worker. at best i had 5s 5w 3c, but 3ppl would die around everytime 1 child was born.
ididnt bother with defending later on though i never sustained a single injury in fighting and the ai never improved from its single lynx attack even at mark 487, which is when my cc was destroyed.
someone could probably live til about mark 1800 or so as it took till mark 314 b4 my first scientist died and i had 5, but it would be horribly boring and repetative with no real point.
time to try normal <_<
