It would cost $6,750 to replace the Savant voice files in voices.vol with re-recorded Duke Nukem versions.  :P

You have failed.  Eat $&*# and die!

Anyways, I expect to have that full amount donated by tomorrow morning.  :P

There are 135 Savant voice files in voices.vol.  Jon St. John (voices Duke Nukem) will record a 30-second message for $50.

135 * $50 = $6,750.

Pretty much all the messages are up to 3 seconds long. Wouldn't it be a waste to pay for 30 secs, when you only need 5, at most?

In that 30 second time frame, you could get 6 to 10 messages done and just use goldwave or somethign to split them up :P

Yes, but I'm not sure it "works" that way.  But what do I know?

Edit: So we'll assume that each sound file is only 3 seconds long, meaning we can fit 10 3-second messages into 1 30-second sound file.  135 / 10 = 13.5 = 14 sound files.  So it would actually cost "only" $700...
