Well, I was thinking about how our op2 players are getting very active, and I think we might be able to have a tournament. You have 3 choices, a teamed tournament (most likely 2 vs 2), a solo tournament (1 vs 1) and no tournament. Here is some rules to also vote on:

Teamed Tournament suggested rules:
Type: Land Rush (LR)
Morale Steady: Off
Day and Night: On
Disasters: On
Build Mark (BM): 60
Attack Mark (AM): 200
Map: Fractures
Additional rules:
2 EMP missiles per team (not per player)
Trading units is allowed, but don't bypass unit cap

Solo Tournament suggested rules:
Type: Last One Standing (LOS)
Morale Steady: On
Day and Night: On
Disasters: Off
Build Mark (BM): 0
Attack Mark (AM): 0
Map: Pie Chart
Additional rules:
No other rules set

So yeah, suggest changes to these rules if you think there needed.

About EMP missiles.

It all depends on teams. Sometimes 1-2 ports are fair, sometimes 3-4 are. Better left determined on game prep, or take the time to make a list of your own.

If you are playing in a tournament then having disasters on is a bit unfair?

Whereas I'd certainly like to play one or another game of op2, I hate it when people only do it for showing off their "uber" skills. And that's really all a tournament is good for.

I play op2 just for having fun in every single game. And for that I only need single, unrelated games.

Exactly!  The only reason I even asked about it was because I want to team up with Arklon and go on a murder spree. :evil laugh:

I'd be requesting admittence on that team for 3 vs 3's, lol

I bring my supernova snaek attacks to the table :P

I like tournaments that are just for fun.  Just because you lose one game, doesn't mean you'll lose the next.  Sometimes the morst player gets lucky and beats the best player :P

Also,  it isn't really a competition, just a suggestion. I don't see why it's such a negative thing.
