Sorry about the website being down so long. The parent server that OPU is hosted on had a hardware failure and data had to be restored from backups. No data was lost in the event.
There might be some changes in where OPU is hosted. I will keep you updated.
-
does this mean the apache thing is fixed now?
-
Thanks for keeping us updated.

Um... the domain outpost2.net seems weird today. Can't use it since it constantly says it's under maintenance.
I'm only curious, is it supposed to be?

Yes?

We just recently completed a transfer of all accounts to a new dedicated server. The previous one had a hardware failure causing a down time of 11 hours. There was no data loss thankfully. I can understand 2-3 hours for that, but it just took too long to come back up. Everything transferred over without problems and most of you won't even notice the change.

still no cpannel access :(
-
I suppose this has something to do with not being able to get on irc too eh? I'm noob
-
Hmm, IRC troubles? That could explain why there was only one other person on.
It connected just fine for me. Perhaps this is caused by the recent DNS issue?
-
Yeah, I have not been able to get on IRC for over a week. It is still irc.outpost2.net:6667, right?
-
Sorry about that guys. In the transfer it changed the IP on the DNS server to point to the wrong server. Give it the day and the new IP should propagate. If you want to connect now, connect to 129.24.33.22:6667.

Cool it works
-
now this is the second time that I've tried something and been embarrased to find it worked and I just didn't think to try it before *hides from the sight of Galactic and Blackbox*
(In other words, I figgured out how to access my cpannel)
-
lol, good deal. I was just about to message you to find out what was going on.
-
Renegades webpage should also be back up in a few hours (depending on the TTL).
-
I didn't think I could try the access port from the domain name without specifying my sub-section, heh
