Hmm.   I believe you are correct.   However, I do not understand what the last choice is supposed to be.

This is nonsence.  There are a limit to how many posts there can be on one page If you post and its on a new page it just means there is another page.  You just have to live with it.  This is almost a spam worthy thread any way.

Simple, obvious answer to all of this.

Go to your preferences & change the "Number of posts displayed per page" option to the maximum

Job done.
