Last year i've written a program called Scripter to be used for simple unit placement to create your own maps.
What i don't know is if its actually being used.
-
I stopped using it when I found out that promised features were missing. Some minor fixes were released but eventually support stopped completely.
Hmmm, sounds like OP1.
-
It rocks. I am using it with some things im working on..
-
I never really used the scripter, as it didn't really seem complete. Not that I got really far into map making anyway :/

Please explain. Should it have a wishlist ?

I know.. i plan to restart it soon, hence my poll.

I've tried, but it's still a little bit rustic. Some improvements (like the AI scripting) are missing too.
I think you should continue, the Scripter has a great potencial. Don't give up (thumbsup)

Yeah hope their will be a update on this :)

I just hope eddy pops back in soon

i AM poppin' in from time to time...

I guess it took a while to pick this topic up again, but since most of the votes seem to indicate hardly anyone knows what the scripter is and what it can do, i will try to update it soon.
If there's any features that anyone wants to see added to it (for those of you that HAVE used / are using it), let me know.

Judging from the votes (about 75% don't even know what it is, or want to start using it), i guess a fixup and some ads for it would be appreciable...
-
I can help you there, Eddy-B!
For all those wondering what the Scripter is:
Is it the most uber tool you will ever use. It allows you to make OP2 missions without using all that ugly coding stuff. It's great for beginners who just wanna make a simple missions without learning C++. It is so uber you will want to be buried with a copy of it so it will forever be with you.
-
heh! you must be the one person who voted "i use it all the time" !!
-
So you say...
I must be pointed in the direction of this...

The download page is down, unfortunately.
Maybe we can pressure Eddy-B into reopening it?
