since the forum is dead, and i've had a request for it to be cleaned up (spambot members deleted, spam posts deleted), what i've done is disabled the ability for new users to sign up to the forum, and i'm going to give the keys over to this community.
so if you wanna clean it up for historical/posterity purposes, go ahead.

word of warning though: it runs VERY slowly navigating between pages, so whoever does it will need to have a lot of time.

i think zhukant  has already volunteered to do this.



what i recommend is that you change the password straight away and then give the new password to whoever is currently in charge of the community (to prevent some random person coming along and seeing this and deciding to go on a killing spree at the OPC).
any trustworthy member of the community should be allowed to know the password though - since this may require more then one person to do the job. (there's 42 pages of members there now... i think there was only 8 pages at most when it was active)


edit:
i decided to leave the private messages rather then delete them. since they are generally all about the forum.
i don't think there's anything personal in any of them, but if there is, i'm sure you guys aren't gonna blackmail me over or anything.
i'm trusting you guys with this, since i figured that you'd like that part of the forum too (i.e. the behind the scenes stuff)

well i'm off. gotta get back to revision

Logged in and changed the password.

Have set all forums to visible, no new threads or replys are allowed any more.

Also as stated account signups are disabled.

If you want to get an admin account so you can clean up the forum, please PM me.

Edit: Read the PM's Ezekel nothing personal / incriminating on them.  Might just delete them as they arn't of much relevance.

i'll see if i can get in touch with Zircon to see if he still has the banner that used to be displayed on the OPC (it was hosted by him)
