Okay so I was playing Plymouth Starship II , Easy, and at Mark 3500...BLIGHT! I was THIS close to evacuating...just a common metals ship...and people...but :(.

I thought there was no Blight in Sierra's colony games! Is there blight in the other colony games?

EDIT : OMG I ACTUALLY WON! Since I spread my base out a lot, that helped. It took out my GORF right away, BUT I thought about it a bit, and turned my brokeness into cash...I quickly built another GORF as quick as possible...and then started deconstructing as many buildings as possible! I had enough to make the CM ship...and the people were easy....whew....

Hey this'd make a good colony game.

Plymouth Starship II is the only colony game with the blight in it.

Wxactly...and I wanted to research everything (I was also using that text mod that added new topics and such...so...), but I 0wn as I got the starship out even though I still had to evac a Common and People cargo when the Blight came...and my Spaceports were near the top...and I had two EMP Missiles I think :).

The first time I did that one I was stopped around the same time you were. I re-did it but build my base in the lowest right hand corner under the Eden base. This gives you plenty of time to get ready to get out once you've researched and battled for quite a wile.

My first time I played it (Easy), I launched just a few Marks before 1500, so I never saw the Blight. I didn't build any military, and Eden just sent a lot of Scouts to my bases.
