Title: Hello All! So Glad To See This Game Being Played

Hey all, i dont know if anyone remembers me, but i was that little green guy on WON <Rogue>Leader.   I would really like to play some time but i cant get mIRC to work so if you guys could help me out with that.  It tells me unable to connect, software caused abort or something like that.  I hope i get to play with u guys again.

Unfortunatly, I had no internet back in the won days, so I never played there :(

As for IRC, I think some of the admins should be able to help you, hacker has some solution for people that can't get on.

Not sure about any details about your WON career, but I think you left WON in 99 or so ?

I don't remember you from the later days I think..

ya i did leave WON before it shutdown op2.  In fact it probably was around 99 and if Highlander was ur name it sounds familiar.  Im trying to remember who i saw on there a lot.  memdee, gray fox, and thats all i can remember right now, been way too long.  Also, i didnt download the IRC client from this site, I had it from before but i will try downloading from this site and let u all know what happens.

our server is irc.outpostuniverse.net u can use any irc client.

ok, using the irc client from the website i get this error message....
"*Unable to connect to server (Software caused connection abort)"

so if u guys have any ideas let me know :(

But yeah, welcome.

I think I used to get that error when I had way too much network traffic going on. (Like a number of p2p apps open with hundreds of connections eating all my bandwidth).
