...why don't the cheats work anymore?

...is there a way of changing the difficulty part way through a game?


...I'm still not very good at this, it seems - I can't get *anywhere* on the Plymouth Cold War mission; I can't seem to gather resources quickly enough, even on Easy!

The cheats were disabled because you could cheat on multiplayer. There is no way to change difficulties. But plymouth cold war is hard, try an easier mission first.
