these are the parts so far i have decided on for my new computer

Why don't you go for SATA drives?
Better yet get two and put them in a raid configuration.

IMHO SATA is just another way to waste your money. No modern hard drive that I know of will be able to use all the bandwidth available on the SATA bus.

I suppose it does have the nice ability to be able to be hotswapped but then again, how often have you needed to be able to hotswap an internal HDD <_<

ATA is good enough. Just get what's cheapest, but yet still a quality product.

SATA has lower CPU utilization which would equal your computer going faster and an increase in drive data transmission. The internal data rate is much faster then what travels over the bus. Take a look at SCSI drives SCSI 320 is extremely fast yet the drives are pretty much the same on the inside as a IDE133. SCSI is so fast becuase the controller handles most of the work load associated with calls for data in the HD.
