A bit of HTML, Javascript (still starting out) and CSS.
Inkscape
Blender
MS3D
(i'll add more later)
the list goes on....... and on........... and on............................................
So, what have you learned? If others are interested in helping me, I'm interested in coming up with some sort of a dedication/testimony etc because of that.
Dont' forget, we learned how to play OP2 (I got a LOT better than when I joined OPU)

I have learned that programmation is really hard...

How to use ftp
Probably some other stuff too...
-
I have learned

- how to use ftp
- website-administration in general
- basics in Blender

- became better in op2
Well, thats all I remember.
-
How to conquer the world!
-
I have learned not to give others ftp access to your site unless you know 100% that they aren't going to steal it and delete your copy :P
-
Well, for me, it's less a matter of what I learned "because" of OPU, more a matter of what I learned "for" OPU.
I really got interested in computers and programming when I started working with Outpost 2. I taught myself x86 assembler mainly because I wanted to learn about OP2.
I also learned a lot about web server administration (much because I had to, for this site).
And of course, I got better at OP2 :) And that's the important thing.

Well, I learned my trainer-making skills ... because of promise StellarWave gave us it got me interested in writing, I wrote those novellas I wrote, which in a chain reaction made me a satirist and occasionally serious writer.
I learned a lot because of Killer. I learned plenty about seeing things from both sides, how to properly play both sides so that I could have a somewhat important role in toppling a dictator. I do owe Killer my first experience as a moderator and administrator. I learned from his example and saw what people in a community tend to dislike. Also from other forums that I've seen go down, a thirteen-year-old should never be an administrator.
Because of the little forum war we had with Ezekiel's, I learned a bit about forum science. It is interesting how replying to one topic in another forum instead of the forum of origin can change the direction of the war. ... Whatever happened to new-er-be?
Because of the incident over the summer of 2003 with a few unruly posters I learned a good bit about crisis management and how some of my previous held notions on the topic weren't all right.
Because of Outpost 2 multiplayer ... I learned how to lose graciously. (Copy this into your sig if this is the case for you)
-
I learned that depriving people of food, power, hospitals, and homes makes them quite upset and causes them to die in large numbers.
-
Heh, nice.... that's .... interesting :P
-
otherwise, I had learned how produce IEM tower in 6 stages ^_^
(it's fun, stormy, in your signature I see the australia :D )

This isn't a general skills thread though. You don't assume that everybody has only learned skills in this Community, do you?
-
No, this isn't just "skills"
it's experiences, friendships, really anything that you've gained because of OPU.
-
Well, I made a lot of friends. This was my first long-term community where I posted more than one post on the forums, and even participated in chat. I want to thank you guys for being so friendly and hospitable ^_^ I hope we can stay together for ever :D (thumbsup)
