The scripter project can enter a new phase now.
I've just completed building the setup (2.38 MB only) of a complete script compiler, that will create playable missions.
The only thing NOT included yet is tube placement (not entirely true - you can place them 1 at a time using the UNIT TUBE command). This means that all buildings must be adjacent for this to work at the moment.

For now, i stuck to AIS for extention, but as i promised: you guys can vote!

OIS is in use; only O2S is a conflict free extension.

I don't care if it conflicts with an existing program, most are probably obscure programs anyway, unless it's a very major program / part of a system.

I wouldn't care even if it was .scr or .ini or whatever.

I would say even .a would be good but that conflicts with a very major system: static libraries on most platforms (besides windows) end in .a. Example: libc.a is the static version of the C runtime library.

.ai wouldn't be too bad: filename.ai

Thanx for all your votes.
The current version of Scripter (0.4) accepts AIS, O2S and OPS.
Anyone can associate extentions from explorer, and the setup gives u the choice to assign those 3 associations or not.

I found another bug in it the other day: using UNIT CONNECT doesn't work, while CONNECT UNIT does. I already know what causes this, and it will be corrected. Also - any errors/bugs/comments you might have can be submitted on the bug-tracking system i made (and still am updating daily the source of) at www.eddy-b.com/AI-Scripter

LOL i did OIS. guess im the loaner... but if we dont have a working ai yet shouldnt it be called Outpost intelligence script? but yeah o2s sounds better...
