I desire shiny boxes and to spread hopes and dreams around the world! Why do I think I spelled world wrong... Did I?

If it's what I think it was than the box is shiny silver. That's the way it was when it was first released. After that they just printed them without silver inks so they lost their shinyness.

Yeah, you're right!

When I got my copy of OP2, it was in the silver shiny box. Looked really nice (nicer than a lot of game boxes nowadays, I have to say)

But yes after a while they stopped using the shiny stuff and the boxes were darker.

That reminds me, some day I should scan in the text of the manual and put it somewhere, just to give people something to print out (if they want a hardcopy)
It doesn't really contain much useful info though. It does have a unit reference, and the tutorial text, as well as some docs on the menu system, and the "What has Gone Before" text.

I still have my original OP2 cd, pretty scratched up but it works pretty well.
(Including the case with the Cyberstorm 'ad' on the back)

What was that cyberstorm game all about anyways? (and don't say "who cares it isn't op2")

who cares it isn't op2 :P

I'm not really sure. It seems like it was part turn based, part RTS.. I haven't seen it or played it myself, but according to reviews the game really stunk.

Not nearly as good as op2 I'm sure. :P

I have The full version of Cyberstorm some where on a HDD.  No where near as good as OP2 is but its fun but only for a little while.
