look at the map 'Axen's World'

this looks ALOT like Earth. almost TOO good to be a coinscidence... *ponders*

yea I notised that, probly because Axen was born on earth, it would be his world

Yes, I think someone pointed that out to me recently. Hmm, maybe it was you.

Also, the left half of the map is the one used in Colony, Eden Starship. Looks like they wanted to save a bit of time on designing maps. Copy->Paste. On the other hand, it's kinda cool to see just where in the world you were playing at the time.

Yeah, I think I first noticed this back in '97, when I played it for the first time...

I have to agree with Eddy.  My explanation of the extra islands is that there aren't any.  Axen's World is in the future of Earth, and thus volcanos erupting causeing the small islands to get big
