Hey i think most of you notice on win xp, maybe on other platforms the radio buttons dont light up when clicked... but they work.. i found that if u use the keyboard shortcuts to select what you want the radio buttons work.. ne ideas why.. maybe this info can be used to fix this prob..

this is an old problem and has been addressed. i believe it will be resolved in upcoming versions. for now, to make the radio buttons visible just hit ALT. you can use alt to make them appear before or after youve already selected the radio button. so long as youre sure of what you pressed, you can get by without having to see the radio buttons anyway. this problem applies only to winXP. i dont think (?) this problem is present in win 95/98/2000.

Nah, WinXP seems to be the only offender. I don't know of any plans to fix this problem. Most people just learn about hitting alt to make them show up, and then forget about the problem. Although this question has been asked many times. Maybe it's about time someone remembers to fix it. :P It's never been high priority since it doesn't really stop the game from working right. It just doesn't display right.

u click easy and u get easy, u click hard and u get hard.
mez knows of a fix to the the radio buttons to light up..

yea, i forget what to do, but there is an option in windows you can click and it will make the buttons run like normal

Well, it has to do with the underlining on Menu Items.
To re enable this:
Right click desktop, go to Properties. Click Appearance Tab. Hit Effects.. in the lower right corner.
Uncheck "Hide underlined letters for navigation until I press the Alt key".
That will fix the problem.
The temporary fix is to just push Alt before using the radio buttons.
but yes, it's appearance only, clicking where you're supposed to will select the option properly.

Yeah, the problem is easy to get around. Is there any way to make it disappear entirely?
