I remember reading a while back about a game scheduler...
Well I finally got the motivation to work on it. Right now it is still in development but is fully functional as far as the calendar and gamelist goes.
The rest(including the forums and comment posting) is being worked on.
I've given Leviathan the current release so hopefully he'll get it up on the site soon...
But in the meantime I've grabbed a bit of webspace so you all can check it out and offer ideas and such.
GameNexus (http://rangersofeve.com/rock/dct-rc1)
you can use the username RockNavator with the password r
My plans for the future of GameNexus are:
Integrate a ladder system
Add a tournament bit(possibly based on ladder ranks...)
As a last remark I'd like to solicite any ideas for a name... GameNexus is just on of a few that have already been submitted so lemme know if you have an idea.

Well, this idea is actually looking a little nicer than I expected. It allows for tracking of games won/lost, so you can actually have player ranking. :)

Great work, thanks :)

it looks like you spent a long time on that :)
Good job B)

Cool, that looks real nice

Definatly looks great! :) Now for a stand-alone version that works with the online database... (thumbsup) (begins thinking)

well ya im sure
but he used dustbowl clantools as the base.
-
I'm not sure what that means... Hmmm
-
What that means is that is took DustBowl Clan Tools (http://www.dustbowl.de) beta GNU software and fixed the bugs and customized it to Outpost.
So basicly the interface was pretty much already there. All Ive done is edit the mysql DB and added the functionality that they had planned but had yet to implement.
-
Well now. that makes things relatively easy then, doesn't it?
I wonder though... how easy is it to program web MySQL stuff in a standalone VB application? I'll have to look at that stuff and see what we can do in terms of truelly making this part of OPUTool's feature functionality.
