is there a list of Hotkeys anywere on the web? I am learning them so I can move more quickly and maybe beat Lev one day  :P

Very basic to know:
B=Build
S=Storage
T=Topics
A=Assign (Scientists), Start, Activate
I=Idle

Menus:
R= Resources Report
----Alt+C = Colonist Information Menu
----Alt+M= Morale Status
----Alt+P= Power Status
----Alt+F= Food Status
----Alt+N= Ore status
F= Factory Report
---D=Details ---> Select factory you want, click details, takes you to that Factory.
L= Labs Report
-----C= Completed (shows all technologies you have reserched)
-----D= Details, same as for vehicle factory.

C= Communication Menu (Displays current mark, as well as events.)
---- J= Select event in list, click J.   Takes you to event location. NOTE: Only works on events that occure at locations, for example, structure kit manufactured, reserch completed, disaster, battle report, disabled building)
---- A= Brings up Allies menu.
P= Space Report.   Shows all satelites you currently have in orbit.
G= Game Options
-----Alt+O= Objectives
Rest you can figure out, all highlighted letters listed are hotkeys.   All you see in yellow is normal lettering.   Red letters are hotkeys.

in op2 u have to ctrl group all ur buildings to keep control of em, once in groups press shift + num to select it. then u can use hot keys to do what u need. make sure u check out a vid of me playing.

thanks Baikon, lev thats just what I wanted and the tip about setting buildings to numbers is great I did not know you could even set control groups

wow, i never knew there was so many hotkeys. never used them either...that helps explain y lev is soo good.

Hehe...

I use the hotkeys myself. They are EXTREMELY helpful and a good method to do is have one hand on the keyboard (left hand preferably), and the other on the mouse. It takes coordination, but once you can do it, you will be a lot faster :).

I normaly play games that way. only using my right hand on the keyboard and my left hand on my mouse  :P
