please sugest any ideas you have about any coding for a bot i would like to make


im going to use irc to code

bot will be restricted to the lobby only. All bot testing should be done in another channel e.g. your own. As we will not accept bot spam in any channels.

We reserve the right to kick the bot off the #outpost2.lobby if it annoys people.

hacker however may have other opinions on bot use on opu irc channels that will overide anything i have said here.


Just so i dont sound too anti comunity development.:

We have in the past had annoying bots on the channels which we have been forced to ban as they filled the channel with spam.

Yeah, ditto what Mez said.

The bot should not join any other OPU channels besides the lobby. So do make sure it doesn't.

And yes, we reserve the right to kick / ban the bot if we feel it's creating a problem.

Other than that, good luck!
I'd recommend some sort of game or command that grabs information from the internet. (something that someone hasn't already done, however)
