Title: The Kamikaze Arts

Kamikaze, Japenese for, "The Divine Wind." Today, kamikaze describes something suicidal.

Strategy 1:
You build lots of advanced labs and tokamaks around the enemy base, making it seemingly impossible for the computer to achieve victory

Strategy 2:
Build lots of scouts. Self destruct 'em at the enemy's command center.

Strategy 3:
Build lots of supernova and starflare units, and blow up the enemy.

Now you all should post more!

Build a line of AL's going to enemy CC.  Then, when they are attacking, set off the fire cracers.

Build Earthworkers right off the bat to go into the opponents colony and demolish all his tubes so he cant do anything and so he'll starve.
Send scouts into an opponents colony and spell out his name before self-destructing them all and sending in supers (you could do the same thing with those), but spelling his name inside his base this time.
Send in lasers to distract the enemy and then more lasers from another side and then from a third some more lasers (but starflares or supers in the dark)
Use stickies to clog up the enemies mining (the same thing goes for emp missiles but no fun there :P)
Use robo miners/surveyers to keep the enemy from mining too many becons and then just build smelters by the ones you got when you need em.
Build gps inside an opponents base instead of using lynx (then self destruct the convecs).
Use supers to blow up both your and your opponents buildings at the same time so you both get "Victory Is Sweet"

A fun thing to do is play a 6-player map (or some other map where the mining beacons are far away from the base)

Then, wait till they go to do rare ore. They will probably send a miner, and cargo trucks.

Get some ESG Tigers (or panthers), move them in the path the trucks take to go from the base to the mine, and shut their lights off.

The enemy will be unpleasantly surprised :-)

Or if they send Convecs to build a CC and smelter, just wait for them in their path. The ESG's will kill them, and they will lose the expensive kits inside. (Or do it on the way back if you don't get them right away)

I also did once, is put tigers all over the map randomly, and shut the lights off. (The enemy starts rolling across the map to my base, and by the time it gets there, 1/2 of the convoy is gone)

you have to totally block the edge where it spawns the units.

I know, you could do it the (evil) way, by hacking into the game's memory and killing off the Pinwheel.

(call Pinwheel::~Pinwheel() to kill the AI pinwheel. Maybe kill the attackgroups too. And triggers.)

I dont remember if I posted this before, but if your base is overrun by enemys, and you have no combat units left, take yoru cargo trucks, and drive them next to the enemy units to self destruct, its pointless, but satisfying that you died fighting

if u have emps u can disable their stickys then run the scounts in and blow em up.
if u have killed there stickys or they have none u can also run ur scounts in.
there fast, cheap and effective.

i don't like that strategy, it used it on me yesterday, he sent a big army in the front for a distraction, and when all my units were there in the front, he back attacked my advanced lab, crippled me almost imediatly.

It was the La Corridor map.  I should have just built up my units.  I used my "Die on my own terms" when he rushed over, he said I cheated, hes sis said I didn't.

btw, this should be a small mod we could probly do, but have light towers act like scouts and say enemy units spotted

than they would at least have a purpose

Secreatlly make pereations to blow up your own base, just a comple of major building like command center, structure factory, have convecs with cc and structure factory in wing, builld it right before u denotate thing your dead and over run his base with super novas( worked for me  :D ) but game must be have 3 players and one aliance that way you are not defeated when the command center is blown to smiterins.

ive done it many times, the thing is to make it come in from the back, while you have a big battle to keep their attention on them, also being the same coloney as your enemy is good too, because even if the color is the same, ply and eden lynx look different

I guess if you know the multy maps well, and you know wich color in the contor map is prodomint in those maps, you can choose that color, and hope that they are in the contor map mode

This would only work with my seed coloney

It would be able to produce small units that have no armor, are very fast have 50 hp and have a wep similer to an unupgraded scorp

they would only cost 50 common mettals each and be very rapidly built, but they would also be able to be built 10 at a time

so with this, make a huge I mean HUGE amount of these things, and attack their base from all angles, you would get heavy casualtys, but because they are so fast, they would run through most defences and go strait for the target

this would work expecially well if the new game will have build ques and waypoint for the built units to go

I agree. That sounds like the Zerg on Starcraft. I think that it would be a very good thing to include into the game.

an alternative, though, would be to build lots of arachnid factories, raise the vehicle limit, and build tousands of scorpians, lol.
