Hey,
I'm an old gamer who started on the Atari 2600 (well, pong machine was first), worked his way to the Atari 800 then to a 286, skipped 386, jumped to 468, etc...  Picked up an Atari Jaguar along the way but I suppose some things are better left unsaid:)

Anyway, been gaming now for a bunch-o-years and found myself playing OP1 and then OP2.  Not really sure why the game got such a bad rap, OP2 that is, as I enjoyed the heck out of it years ago but always found it a hard game to beat.

Just had a hair up the pooper to reinstall OP2 and finally, x years later, beat colony game Eden population on medium.  Can't believe all I had to do was NOT research mobile weapons platform!

colony game Eden starship is a different animal it seems as you are attacked even without doing mobile research so not sure how to defeat it yet.  Your tips are welcome:)

Come on IRC when evea your online, you dont have to play everytime your on but please come on, and were not all great at multiplayer, we have players of all skill level and players who enjoy all different types of game type.

Um, how do I identify a 'weak' player per sei?  Sure, I need look no further:)  However playing with myself offers innumerable benefits, it can get lonely.

But in all honesty, not looking for multiplayer nowadays.  I left a Counter Strike site nottoo long ago and there, it was nothing but multiplayer.

Then again, I enjoy multiplayer shooters.  Not sure I enjoy multiplayer resourcers though.  You spend an ungody amount of energy trying to build a utopia only to have it fall to ruin moments later.  Just not my idea of constructive thought when your ID is so easy to crush.

lol, ask almost anyone I've played, you have a 75% chance of winning.  But once I get the ore flowing and supers, watch out ;)

Outpost 2 is way better than (yuck) Counter Strike!!

There are so many different games types you can play!

Yeah, CS is really one sided when it comes to how you play multiplayer.

OP2 on the other hand, though being a totally different category of game, lets you do all sorts of possibilities for multiplayer. (Sure the most popular ones are LoS and LR, but that doesn't mean you won't find someone to play other types with)
