Title: Outpost 2:acting Strange

I just got Outpost 2 to run but when I try and pick a game,but for some reason I can't click in the boxes to select the difficulty,nothing happens.How do i fix this problem?I'm running Windows XP..

Originally there should be a yellow light, indicating which option you have selected.

However, on the downloadable version of Outpost 2, the yellow light never shows up. This doesn't change much though, just click on the difficulty setting you want and start the game. You get no indicator for which difficulty you have chose, but the one you click will be the one you play.

To fix this permanently do the following.


Right click on your desktop; select properties    (or goto ->control panel-> display.

Then select the tab marked "apperance" then click the button in the bottm right hand corner marked "effects"

In the dialog box that pops up uncheck the box marked : "Hide under lined letters for keyboard navigation until i press the alt key"

okay everything and op2 will show yellow boxes


The temp fix is to press the alt key everytime.

this isn't just an issue with the downloadable version - i have always had this since i started running XP.

the buttons still work, you just can't see them light up is all
