Title: SATs, the dreaded test we all hate

well, i just got back my SAT results... i HATED to take that test... hours on end with only 7 minutes of break total... cruel and usual punishment.. my score

reading-560 (67 percentile in the nation, 70 in the state)
math-530 (53 percentile in the nation, 58 in the state)
writtin-630

(the national average is about 510)

I'm done with all SAT tests and did rather well (don't remember the scores)

Sophmores didn't have to take SATs this year, instead we had to take UBSCT tests :(

lol, lets review all of the standardized tests i've had to take this year:

PSAT
PSSA (essay half)
PSSA (math and reading half)
ASVAB
SAT..

YEA.. bleh...

Hehehe.... I skipped thosse Suuuuckaaass.... Started taking College classes at a community college when I was 15 and got enough credit to qualify as a transfer student....Lol..

Once you guys start the registration process for college/university, you'll see how benificial they are when you get a high score (I got 1270 on my SATs :D)

Hmm. Definately some good points. Anyone ever stop and think about why most countires have public schools? There tends to be certain reasons why things have evolved this way. And good reason for it.

Besides, I'd rather have a teacher who became one because that's what they wanted to do rather than one doing it for the money.

I'm hoping this was on the old test? Those old tests were easy though, I took em in 7th and 8th grade, and got a 1030 in 8th grade. In fact I was looking forward to take them again, until they changed them.

they're different in the US most likely...here avereage score is somewhere between 1150 and 1200

I think mine was about 1180, I probably should have studied. lol

I really didn't have to take it at all, I ended up going to a community college anyways cause of money reasons.
