Since so many people are asking about it, here it is!
** A new single-player campaign for Outpost 2 **
This is where information about my (or rather: our) work will be released.
Any new info will be posted as soon as it becomes available. Questions are welcome, but please do not ask me to send you (unfinished) mission files, and also try to keep in mind that i'd rather keep all the surprises to myself, until im ready to realease the campaign for download.
Anybody working on this project will be added to the credits; however, if you contributed some minor part, i might accidently forget...
For now, i hope this project won't take as long as the other Outpost project(s) take to finish <_<

Update:
First Plymouth mission is done, and gone into beta-testing. Several of the OPU members have volunteered already, and the beta-team is closed for now.
Most of the bugs have been worked out, and some mission updates have taken place yesterday. Good work!
Let's get on with the next one...
Eden campiagn will be started as soon as the Plymouth campaign is finished.
A special website will be opened soon with more detailed information on this project.

your campaign is great but only worth playing on Medium or Hard...
keep it goin and keep hiding the Eden vehicles B)

"Easy" is for the weak-hearted, which i know none of you are :P
then medium IS the way to play, and if you really want ur ass kicked, try hard.
BTW: hard will be made just a bit easier, since no one ever finished it yet, including me <_<

you should be done building your kits by then.. The increasing eden attacks is just a way to limit the mission time. It's much more fun then hearing "the blight is approaching".
But, as you've said: it needs 'tweeking' <_<

Personally, I think the blight is the best way to go for a nice infected death! Makes bases look like crap! And even more fun if it whipes out that AI in the other side of the map!

maybe do that the Eden builds an advanced lab and after a while the blight starts comin from THERE... that would look cool B)

ok - ok .. that sounds like a nice idea,, i'll see if i can put it in, but not now, in a later mission B)
For now, i'll leave ya with this: a screenshot i took from mission 2; i'm testing my mission, going my own little way, not bothering the ai or anything, THEN out of nowhere this little quake comes up! The holes in the ground used to be vehicles, and the buildings.. well see for yourself:

The quakes have been taken care off - im now facing a massive eden attack every couple dozen timeticks.. wich sucks when it comes to testing the victory conditions.. lol
BUT .. i'll make it work :-) i mean I have the CODE .. i am GOD.. i control the AI.. :evil laugh: .. i just make sure they dont get me b4 i finish the task at hand... actually fighting the enemy will be the task of the beta team.
But, so far, so good ! :Cool:
I'm looking at a possible 3 or 4 days before alphatest is done :)

Nothing more enjoyable than testing a new map and telling you whats needs done... and then you doing it :)
Well expect a good Outpost 2 1v1... thos were the days :find:

yes i had something similar to that pic in beta v4 of mission 1.
my base got a heavy quake, and then got hit by a meteor
leaving me with a cc and a smelter
lol
But that was admittedly funny, as i still didn't get the u have failed mission thing till the enemy lynx got the cc.

I would have just the SF kit in hard and both in medium or easy :yawn: .

Last time i heard from LoneWolf was 2 months ago (feb 3rd), so its safe to assume he's no longer active atm. Therefore, as of now, i have a opening for an:

I have 2.5 chapters of the story, and a (literally) couple of people willing to continue to write, but sadly no story input yet... :(
Chapter 3 needs revising or rewriting.

You know that is EXACTLY why I try NOT to put my buildings directly between tubes...in case weaker stuff are leveled and a whole side of the base all of a sudden is disabled ;)
And I can do some or all of the novella for the Eden camp

Okay guys - that's great.
For now, i got Baikon working on the Plymouth novella... seems he's eager to write until mission 12, so that won't be a problem.
Eden campaign.... hmmm that might be next year, who knows, the progress on renegades is slow, but i'll get there!
